Greenprint Trust

Greenprint Trust is a results-driven non-profit organisation that specialises in the creation of original educational resources & communications campaigns. As a trusted non-commercial initiative, independently created in South Africa as early as 1990, Greenprint's role is more crucial than ever. Its primary function is to serve as an honest, objective source of scientifically accurate information, thereby creating a powerful advocate for sustainability and the social upliftment that of necessity underpins environmental responsibility. Greenprint Trust therefore researches, scopes, evaluates and communicates practical social upliftment and sustainability concepts and projects with a primarily southern African focus within the global context.

Greenprint's website attracts some 12,000 international unsolicited visitors per month. It is a non-profit, voluntary contribution to making reliable information more widely accessible. Greenprint Trust raises funds for implementing practical solutions, as well as sourcing sponsors for the unique, multi-lingual, award-winning resources that are custom-designed to inform and educate a remarkably wide audience regarding the most vital issues of our era. These reliably interpret complex, abstract and often disheartening issues in comprehensible, accessible formats to an astonishing variety of people of all ages, from all walks of life.  Greenprint's original multimedia projects are highly regarded and are welcomed by their recipients. They receive official recognition and support and are accountably distributed free of charge by various National Government departments to appropriately targeted recipients of all ages, backgrounds and professions, enabling objective understanding, knowledge and practical know-how. Since 1990 Greenprint (originally called Earthyear) has taken on a vital role in responsibly disseminating in-depth, well-researched, scientifically verified information in order to facilitate awareness and in providing a reliable bridge of knowledge between various sectors, resulting in genuine commitment to creating a more sustainable future. Greenprint's 5-step process includes:

1 Scoping, researching, developing concepts and sourcing sponsors for environmental, social upliftment and community health projects that require creative communications solutions;

2 Creating and distributing original educational communications resources aimed at children, students and professionals in government, corporate, industry, NPO and NPO sectors;

3 Creating advertising and promotional campaigns based on social upliftment and environmental initiatives for corporate, donor, non-profit or government sectors;

4 Publicising such contributions on Greenprint's popular website;

5 Providing accountability by accurately measuring, evaluating and ensuring delivery and results for projects at all stages, including audited reports.

These five dynamics work together to provide a logical framework for rapid change and profound improvement through creativity, education and constructive intervention. In addition donors and NGO's are given on-going credit for their contribution to projects aimed at creating environmental awareness, health, safety and social stability.
