A Greenprint for a Blue Planet

Our minds are the most powerful weapons on earth. If we change our mindset, we can alter the course of human history, and the current systematic desecration of the Earth. Greenprint is published in the belief that we have the intelligence and resources to turn the tide of destruction, that we are innately good, and that there are only a few who would destroy the very planet on which we depend for our survival. Humanity’s consciousness and the crisis of the earth mirror one other. As the few become materially wealthy and comfortable, so we all become spiritually impoverished. Both linear time and money are human concepts. They do not exist in nature, yet they rule our lives. If something makes money, it’s justified; if someone is rich, they are respected. Yet, would anyone respect the CEO of a business that made short term profits by squandering its assets and capital?

Who is In Charge?

We did not make the Earth, or ourselves for that matter. Yet we think nothing of grabbing whatever we can, like kids pillaging a sweetie shop. Against the genetic holocausts, bacterial infernos, polluted elements and poisoned oceans, we complacently bring out our pea shooter technologies. Profoundly flawed, every facile comfort is provided at a price that we possess no currency to pay for. At the last second of recorded history will stock markets still throw money at an avalanche of unsustainable industry for the illusion of profit? What profit is there in a world that is uninhabitab

A Fresh Start

Modern scientific thought is a recent development that in essence transcends politics and capitalism. The underlying logic and justification for capitalism is linked to materialistic convictions about the nature of reality that are archaic. Quantum physics has recognised the fluidity of matter, the subjective nature of substance, the arbitrary nature of our perception and the ever changing relationship
between subject and object, thought and substance, mind and microcosm, consciousness and cosmos.
Many remember me as the founder of the award winning Earthyear Environmental Magazine, which I edited, designed and published for eleven years.

I believe that innovative technologies, clear thinking and intelligent solutions can save the day. Kids with a global consciousness, who know how to get round the system, are starting to grow up all around us. You can communicate for free, you can play with anyone, you can travel through cyberspace, see the earth from your study.

People are more literate and better educated - mind over matter, the world of thought rules the planet. We are shamans, sorcerers, angels and devils.

Contrary to popular belief, Africans have a strong tradition of caring for their environment and the importance of a healthy relationship with the earth
is central to most traditions...

By honouring ancient wisdom we ensure the survival of our heritage

Cleaning Up Our Act

Hopefully it’s not too late for the new generation to start cleaning up. Greenprint is here,  just as our future is in your hands.  It’s yours to use, to gain insights, to harvest good ideas. It’s not here to shake fingers with boring righteous indignation, it’s not here to be a mouthpiece for corporate greenwash. It’s not filled with articles that were paid for by companies with a vested interest in operating unsustainably, who are funding the space they are taking up by destroying finite resources.

Greenprint is here to help, to be constructive, to entertain and visually delight, to celebrate life, to provide indispensable information and a practical plan to help people and the planet. It is full of pizzaz, beauty, drama, brilliant ideas, lateral thinking, clever concepts and paradigm shifts. Greenprint has indispensable information to help you save the planet. I value your opinion. Please let me know what you think of it - or to contribute - contact: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it
